The Chairman is the senior position in our Club and forms the main interface with all external bodies, the development of club strategy and the day to day general management of the club and committee. 

Football experience is not essential with the ability to control and direct the management of the club seen as the main task.

This position becomes vacant in 2009-10 and handles all registrations with external bodies and is the only club interface with the FA. All matters relating to policy and disciplinary matters are dealt with by this position. A hand over period would prove useful so that an early appointment is desirable.

Whilst the club raises valuable extra funds from events such as the tournament, we have a need to explore the money available to us from private and public grant funds and charities. We have some in progress and the development of this important revenue opportunity is seen as an essential part of the future development of the club.

The club requires constant management in this area and this role will involve everything from communications to publicity material. The club web site may or may not form a part of this role. This position will work in conjunction with the press and publicity officer.
