About Woking Town FC

Woking Town Football Club has a long history and is the combination of what was known as Woking Town Youth and Woking Boys Clubs. Originally formed over 30 years ago as an activity club for boys and girls who had interests in everything from camping to boating and table tennis to football.

The club became a charity in 1977 and remains so to this day but is now dedicated to football with over 200 players across the age groups.

The football history began at West Byfleet school playing fields with both boys and girls teams.More recently our home ground has become Woking College and St Peter's Pavillion in Old Woking where we can be found hosting home matches on most Sundays during the season.

Training across all age groups takes place on a Saturday at West Byfleet recreation ground with some of the older age groups training at Fullbrook school. Professional coaches swell the ranks of our own enthusiastic and dedicated managers and coaches offering everything from goal keeping skills to game tactics and general fitness training.

We are affiliated to the Surrey Football Association and enjoy the respected Charter Standard Accreditation with participation in both County Cup and Surrey Primary Leagues. Our managers and coaches will either have or be in the process of obtaining their level one coaching certificates and many have reached level 2.

Each year we have a club Tournament, usually in late Spring where we host teams from the surrounding area over two days to help raise funds. We are also pleased to support other clubs in the area and welcome interest from sponsors who would like to associate themselves or their organisations with our teams and events.

Our year ends with a fantastic presentation evening where our players, families and supporters come together to celebrate the year, make presentations and generally have a very noisy evening.

Woking Town Football Club is a great place to play football-come and find out for yourself.
